Friends of Music

Friends of Music are supporters of Christ Church who share a passion for music and a keen appreciation for the long-standing musical heritage of the church. The Friends of Music help create and establish a lasting legacy of sacred music, to bring world-class artists to Bradenton, and to help sustain beautiful and excellent sacred choral and organ music in both our worship and in concert. Becoming a Friend of Music is a wonderful investment to make in the cultural life of our city and region. There are a number of levels on which supporting this important artistic outreach is possible. In 2027 our Concert Series will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Létorneau organ, and the acquisition of our Steinway D Concert Grand Piano. With an array of special guests – including organists James O’Donnell, formerly Organist & Master of Choristers at Westminster Abbey, London, Olivier Latry, one of the great organ virtuosi of our time and Organiste Titulaire of Notre-Dame Cathedral, Paris, France, and also “one of the finest Rachmaninoff pianists on the concert scene” (South Florida Classical Review), pianist Asiya Korepanova - all besides Christ Episcopal Church’s Director of Music and renowned pianist and organist, Jeremy Filsell.
