Pentecost emphasizes the Spirit’s gifts—unity, courage, and the ongoing presence of God among believers—and invites communities to renew their commitment to mission, service, and the work of reconciliation. Churches often observe the day with prayer, Scripture readings from Acts 2, and the color red to symbolize the flame of the Spirit.
