Join us for an exciting evening of Pentecost music. Our program begins at 5:30 pm.
Pentecost Sunday remembers the Holy Spirit coming on Jesus’ followers (Acts 2), with tongues of fire and speaking in many languages. It marks the Church’s birth, the apostles’ public witness, and believers’ empowerment for mission. Celebrated fifty days after Easter, Pentecost highlights renewal, unity in diversity, and God living among the people. Worship often uses the color red, prayers for the Spirit, and readings about spiritual gifts, bold preaching, and God’s transforming work.
